What is Norwood 1 Hair Loss?
The Norwood Scale is the standard classification system used by hair restoration specialists to measure the stages of male pattern baldness. Norwood 1 is considered the earliest stage. At this point, there is little to no visible hair loss, only a very slight recession of the hairline around the temples. While many men at Norwood 1 still have a full head of hair, this stage is a critical opportunity for early intervention and prevention.
